Procurement processes to engage the most appropriate supply chain partners to deliver your project.
Projects are often complex requiring input from many and varied members of the supply chain. And supply chain partners often fall into two camps, either Generalists – of which there are many – supplying similar services or Specialists who deliver specific or unique products or services. For the successful delivery of your project, you need to establish relationships with the right supply chain partners and ensure they are engaged on clear contractual terms based on the appropriate balance of risk and reward.
Whether you are an End User or Supply Chain Partner, we can assist you in building effective relationships with your chosen supply chain members by:
Contract and Procurement Selection
Selecting and shaping the most appropriate terms of contract to balance the level of certainty required on price against the level of risk you are prepared to carry within a bespoke procurement processes to suit your needs.
Particularly for supply chain members, review and appraise proposed contract terms to establish and understand, in clear terms, the obligations and risks any proposed contract would impose.
Management of Procurement Process
Identify members of the supply chain most qualified and suited to be engaged. Establish and manage bid processes for works packages. Review and make recommendations on supply chain selection, particularly in terms of suitability, track record, price and any statutory requirements (for example, with compliance to CDM within the UK).
Our team has extensive experience in procurement processes, both in advising End Users of appropriate procurement routes and in the selection and engagement of Supply Chain Partners. We have particular experience in the selection and securing of specialist partners and the establishment of framework agreements. We can help to ensure you have the right team in place to deliver your Project.
