We are highly experienced in the design and delivery of contract and commercial awareness training courses to staff at all levels which may attract CITB funding depending upon content and duration. These courses can be tailored to suit your individual needs.
We offer a range of bespoke training courses that seek to instill awareness and understanding of the Commercial and Contractual Processes. The learning experience and knowledge retention are greatly enhanced by scenario-based role-play derived from actual contracts: this enables participants to practise their interpersonal skills, including negotiating techniques and contractual letter writing.
We have considerable experience of designing and delivering training courses to suit the particular needs of individual clients. Many of the contracts currently in use are highly complex bespoke forms which impose a considerable burden of risk upon the Contractor. Financial loss is highly likely if estimators and site personnel do not understand the nature and extent of that risk.
Proper understanding of the Commercial Process including, at the most basic level, the importance of keeping and maintaining contemporary records, can greatly increase the potential for recovery and, possibly, avoid claims and disputes.
